On this the last work day of the year for A Stitch In Time, I would like to thank all of you for a stellar year. Our needlepoint and knitting classes, events and sales were fantastic. We wouldn't be here to have classes, events and sale without our fine customers. I hope the new year brings you happiness and peace.
For the new year, Margaret's shawl class begins in January. If it is time to learn something new read the class description below.
Lace Shawl Class with Margaret
Michelle Hunter of "Building Blocks in Color" blanket fame has just published "Building with Lace." The finished product in this class is a beautiful shawl with 9 horizontal panels. Intended for intermediate knitters (those able to identify right (public) and wrong (non-public) sides, knit and purl stitches, and correct their own mistakes), the class would run once monthly for 9 months. The pattern calls for HiKoo's Riley yarn, a sport weight, alpaca and silk blend.
The cost of yarn, needles, book and instruction comes to $280 and includes sales tax.This class will be taught by Margaret Williams and will begin in January.

This year you pick your canvas and Alison will create a stitch guide just for you! The Santa Barbara Inn is a charming hotel overlooking the Pacific Ocean. We are limiting the retreat to 15 people.
We have two spaces open for canvas embellishment class with Meredith Willett on Thurs., February 1. Class is from 10-4 and is $125.00 per day.
You can work on the canvas of your choice. Meredith will help you enhance your canvas with stitch and fiber selections.
Our canvas and knitting yarn sale has been extended for one more week. 25% off all in stock canvases and knitting yarn. Sale excludes trunk show canvases, and special orders. No exchanges or returns on sale items.
